Description | House; 1845 (CMP and 1845 on shields in gables) rebuilding of earlier house. Brick with stone dressings, slate roof. Two storey, 4 window range, 1-2-1 coped gabled projection left and right. Sash windows (tripartite to ground floor) with glazing bars. Four panel door, rectangular fanlight above, and hoodmould with head stops. Previous house was home of Robert Bakewell, pioneer agriculturalist. |
