This page offers advice and information about how to appeal against a homeless decision, or a waiting list decision.
Homeless appeals
You can appeal a homeless decision by writing to:
Housing Needs Manager
Charnwood Borough Council
Southfield Road
Loughborough LE11 2TT
If the council has notified you that it will no longer provide you with accommodation, you will not automatically be entitled to remain in the temporary accommodation, even if you appeal against the decision.
Requests to stay in temporary accommodation in these circumstances will be considered and decisions will be based on the individual circumstances of each case.
Waiting list appeals
Homeseekers can appeal against a waiting list decision by writing to:
Housing Needs Manager
Charnwood Borough Council
Southfield Road
Loughborough LE11 2TT
If you have difficulty with writing to the Housing Needs Manager, please contact the Senior Allocations and Lettings Officer on 01509 634567 to discuss this.
