The Running Out of Time baton relay which runs from Glasgow, the host of COP26, to Sharm El Sheikh, the host of COP27 is coming to Watermead Country Park on the 4th October! The relay intends to raise awareness about climate change and showcase local climate action. The baton will be handed over between 8.20-8.30am on the 4th October at the North of Watermead County Park.

Come along on the day to talk to find out more about local climate action in Leicestershire and cheer on the runners.

Sign up to be a runner on stage 78, running alongside the baton for 8km from Watermead to Abbey Park.
