| Description | Cottage, late C16/early C17 gable to street. Timber framed with brick infill, possibly original. 8 bays of timber framing, 2 storeys, 2 square panels high, with arch bracing on a rubble plinth. Joist ends are visible below the middle rail, supported by lateral beam visible in gable end. Door in 6th bay from left, various casement windows. Herringbone nogging to gable wall. Thatched roof, gable end stacks. Adjacent, to the right, a rubble and brick outbuilding with pantiled roof and brick gable stack. |
