Description | Offices at entrance to former 3M Factory. Now apparently closed and for sale. Late C19. Quite plain but with Baroque Revival elements. Many C20 interventions and new buildings across site. Red brick with deep stone string course above GF. Narrow stone string course under 1st floor windows. Stone quoins on 1st floor. Steep pitched Swithland slate roof with terra cotta ridge and upstanding Baroque style shaped gables. Overhanging eaves. 2 storeys. Tall vertical sliding sash windows, many replaced with casement replicas having hinged lights. |
