Description | Retail Premises, now a Pizza Bar. Early 1930s. Italianate styling. Perhaps originally part of a 3 bay development of which 2 bays replaced by extension to adjoining Lloyds Bank. White stone / faience cladding with attached square pilaster on each margin. Projecting shop fascia closed by exaggerated console blocks and topped by moulded cornice under 1st floor windows. Cornice mould above 1st floor windows surmounted by parapet with Renaissance style cartouche. Flat roof behind tall parapet. 2 storeys. Metal shop front with centre door and full width fanlight, restrained Art Deco. Full width 3 light window to 1st floor also metal framed with top hung opening lights |
