| Description | Perhaps originally a Town House, perhaps Offices. Now Solicitor?s Offices (Moss Solicitors). Extended into adjoining premises (Nos77-79 on left No 82 on right). Late C19. Tudor Revival styling. Painted brick to GF. Stucco to 1st floor and gables. 1st floor with half timbering and rectangular oriel windows projects forward of GF, carried on timber corbel brackets and decorated bearers. Pitched roof with paired gables front. Woodgate. Roof recovered with C20 concrete tiles. Adjoining premises 79 & 82 perhaps Early C19 in origin. Similar to each other in style and quite plain. In both cases shop front fascias remain. but GF windows replaced to match 80-81. Painted brick. Segmental brick arched openings on 1st floor with Regency/Early Victorian horizontal sash windows. 77&78 earlier. Vernacular styling perhaps originally matching red brick building on left. |
