Cllr Faye Forde, a ward member for Sileby and Seagrave, resigned from Charnwood Borough Council on Friday, 30 August.

Cllr Forde was a member of the Green Party and was elected to the ward following the local borough elections in May 2023.

A notice of vacancy for the seat in the Sileby and Seagrave ward will be issued shortly and it is anticipated a by election will be called in due course.

Until a new councillor is elected, residents with any ward related issues in the Sileby and Seagrave can contact ward councillors Geoff Lawrence and Naomi Bottomley.
