‘Better Business for All’ is the LLEP's (Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership) response to supporting the national priority of reducing regulatory burdens on business to aid economic recovery, whilst protecting the rights of consumers, workers and residents.

The aim of the partnership is to create the conditions for an effective and efficient local regulatory system to support business growth through removing real and perceived regulatory barriers. A Partnership Charter has been signed by all organisations involved in the programme.

Business advice

To help business in Leicestershire the LLEP have also launched The LLEP Business Gateway for new and existing enterprises. They also offer a variety of business grants.

There is guidance available for running a business from your home address, it looks at how you start a business from home and has helpful advice on tax, planning and business rates.
