Due to the current cold weather the Council’s Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP) has been activated. When the SWEP is active, the council can arrange emergency accommodation for rough sleepers in Charnwood. Visit our webpage for more information.

We are a member of the District Councils’ Network (DCN) which is a cross-party, member-led network of 200 district councils.
The DCN is a special interest group of the Local Government Association and provides a single voice for district councils within the LGA.
