Leicestershire Police and Crime Commissioner Election - Thursday 2 May

The results for the Police and crime commissioner election have been declared.

Rupert Oliver Matthews, The Conservative Party Candidate, is elected with 62,280 votes. Turnout was 21.70%.

Loughborough East Ward by-election - Thursday 2 May

The results for the Loughborough East Borough Ward by-election that took place on Thursday May 2 are as as follows:

  • RANSON, Pauline (Conservative Party) 398 votes
  • TAYLOR, Daisy Judith (Green Party) 510 votes
  • TAYLOR-DURANT, Louise (Labour Party) 1,489 votes (Elected)

Louise Taylor-Durant (Labour Party) is therefore duly elected as the borough councillor for the Loughborough East borough ward.

The turnout was 28.97%

Sileby & Seagrave by-election, Thursday 31 October

The results for the Sileby & Seagrave borough ward by-election that took place on Thursday 31 October 2024 are as follows:

  • Steve Bellamy, The Green Party - 752 votes
  • Alistair Duffy, Liberal Democrats - 40 votes
  • Sue Gerrard, The Conservative Party - 262 votes
  • Kaisra Manzur Khan, Labour Party - 70 votes
  • Pete Morris, Reform UK - 297 votes

Steve Bellamy (The Green Party) is therefore duly elected as the borough councillor for the Sileby & Seagrave borough ward.

The turnout was 18.76%
