Suitable Alternative Safeguarding Courses

If you have already undertaken a similar Safeguarding Awareness Training Course related to Taxis we may be able to accept the one you have completed instead.

This is at the discretion of the Head of Regulatory Services and the Licensing Manager.

If you think this applies to you please email the Licensing Team at licensing@charnwood.gov.uk with the following:

• Your full name and Date of Birth
• Name of the course you attended
• Name of the provider who delivered the course
• Contents of the course
• Date you attended
• Proof that you passed the course eg your certificate

The Head of Regulatory Services and the Licensing Manager will consider the contents of both courses and decide whether the completed course is an acceptable suitable alternative.

You will be advised of the outcome by email within 10 working days.
