Proposed changes to car parking charges

The council is currently considering making some changes to car parking charges across the following locations in Loughborough:

• Beehive Lane Car Park
• Southfield Road Extension Car Park
• Council's Southfield Offices Car Park
• Browns Lane (leisure centre) Car Park
• Granby Street Car Park

The parking tariffs have remained largely unchanged since 2012. However, since then operating costs have risen significantly and to ensure we can continue to provide high-quality car parks for people to use, proposed increases are being considered.

Changes to Browns Lane (leisure centre) car park

Unlike the other town centre car parks, Browns Lane is directly linked to Loughborough Leisure Centre and its customers. Below are the recommended amendments to the current charges:
