Council offices at Southfields

The main council office building at Southfields is currently open to customers on an appointment-only basis. It will close at 1pm on Friday December 22, 2023 and remain closed until 9am on Tuesday January 2, 2024.

Please note: While there are changes to the opening hours of the office and availability over the phone, our online forms are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Customer services

The Council's telephone service will be open until 1pm on Friday December 22, 2023 and remain closed until 9am on Tuesday January 2, 2024. Repairs calls will be for emergencies only, all other repairs should be reported online.

Other services at the council offices

Jobcentre Plus will close for Christmas at 5pm on Friday, December 22.

They will be closed on Monday December 25, Tuesday December 26 and Wednesday December 27.

They will be open between 9am-5pm on Thursday December 28 and Friday December 29, and then closed until 9am on Tuesday January 2, 2024.

• Open 7am until 9pm on Monday December 18 and Tuesday December 19
• Open 8am until 4pm on Wednesday December 20, Thursday December 21, Friday December 22, Saturday December 23 and Sunday December 24 (Christmas Eve)
• Closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day (Monday December 25 and Tuesday December 26)
• Open 8am until 4pm on Wednesday December 27, Thursday December 28, Friday December 29 and Saturday December 30
• Open 8am until 12pm on Sunday December 31 (New Years Eve)
• Closed New Years Day (Monday January 1, 2024)
