Voters at polling stations were required to bring photo ID with them when voting in the general election 2024 on July 4.

The Electoral Commission has said the following data with regards to voter ID can be shared:

  • The number of electors who applied for, but were not issued with, a ballot paper (due to voter ID)
  • The number of electors who were not issued with a ballot paper and who later returned with accepted ID and were issued with a ballot paper

Charnwood Borough Council was responsible for administering the election for the Loughborough and Mid Leicestershire constituencies.

The election for the Melton and Syston constituency was administered by Melton Borough Council which will be able to provide the data with regards to voter ID.

Total number of electors in Loughborough who were eligible to vote in person at polling stations

Number of voters in Loughborough who were issued ballot papers at polling stations
