Community Hubs

The Neighbourhoods and Partnerships Team supports three community hubs in Loughborough.

The Altogether Place (Warwick Way estate) and the Marios Tinenti Centre (Bell Foundry estate) are both hubs are based in flats within the estate. 

The Marios Tinenti Centre and Altogether place serve the needs of their respective communities and offer a base for groups in the area, as well as partner agencies such as the police. Both hubs offer residents free internet access, a free telephone to contact agencies and can signpost residents to support services. They are a focal point for community activity and provide opportunities for people to volunteer in their local area.

The third hub is The Hut Community Centre in the Ashby Ward. This is a purpose-built centre that is run by the Ashby Road Estates Community Association (ARECA) and provides support, events and activities to the community alongside offering room hire.

There are a number of other community centres and facilities throughout the borough.
